Amy has worked for Belmont Shore Veterinary hospital since 2003 after graduating summa cum laude from Cal Poly Pomona. She has a special interest in dentistry, low-stress patient handling, and geriatric health care (older critters make her heart melt).

Amy has two dogs (an older German Shepherd and a young mixed-breed), two lizards, four rabbits, and a horse of her own. In her free time, she spends as much time as possible at the stable with her horse; rescues and fixes homeless rabbits, and snuggles with her soulmate – a one-eared rabbit named Fernando.
