When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.

During each visit, your pet will receive a complete comprehensive physical examination by the doctor. We call this a “tip to tail” exam.

It will include an evaluation of your pet’s eyes, ears, gums, lymph nodes, heart, lungs, abdominal cavity, musculoskeletal system, nervous system, and skin. Our doctors will also provide an ideal weight estimate for your pet.

During your appointment, the doctor will also collect a complete medical history. As the pet owner, you have a very important role in helping the doctor collect an accurate history. Your observations about your pet in the home setting are invaluable in providing the doctor with clues about your pet’s health.

Following the comprehensive examination of your pet, the doctor will inform you of their findings and make recommendations regarding your pet’s healthcare needs. If additional diagnostics tests are recommended, a written treatment plan outlining costs can be provided to help you make an informed decision.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing and we never want you to feel pressured. We recognize each person and pet is unique and will work with you to find the best plan forward.

Our veterinary technician will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness or care questions you may still have. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

We are excited to meet you and your furry family!
