Dr. Garcia graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences. She then drove across the country to attend Western University of Health Sciences where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Soon after, Dr. Garcia underwent additional training in oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, surgery, cardiology, emergency medicine, and internal medicine after a year-long small animal rotating internship at a reputable specialty hospital in Southern California.
Following her internship, Dr. Garcia joined the Belmont Shore Veterinary Hospital team and is excited to serve the communities’ pets and their owners. Dr. Garcia has a Chihuahua mix named Penny who is her life companion and travel buddy since her undergraduate years. She also most recently adopted Whiskies, a sweet and loving domestic shorthair kitty.
